Description

Limescale in your Delonghi espresso machine can adversely affect the quality of the espresso and the lifespan of the appliance. Limescale makes it take longer for the coffee to be ready and causes poor heat transfer, resulting in a lower quality of the coffee. The limescale layer in the machine becomes thicker and thicker and leads to blockage. Limescale promotes corrosion of the material in the machine, resulting in damage. In addition, limescale leads to increased energy consumption.

Delonghi recommends its users to descale the ECAM / ESAM / Magnifica / EC espresso machines monthly with the special Delonghi Ecodecalk descaler.

Instruction

1) Pour 1 dose (100ml) of DeLonghi Ecodecalk descaler into the water tank.
2) Add the amount of water indicated in the user manual of your coffee machine (usually about 1 liter of water).
3) Follow the instructions in the manual of your DeLonghi espresso machine.
4) After descaling, rinse the water tank with tap water and rinse as described in the manual of your DeLonghi espresso machine.
